Denver Rescue Mission is seeking skilled piano teachers to lead youth, ages 8 to 18, in individual music lessons and/or bi-annual group performances. Volunteers in this position will serve the youth in Build, a Transitional Program by providing a healthy creative outlet for the leisure time while also building meaningful relationships. Volunteers are needed for one to three hours every other week. Available times are Saturday mornings or Monday through Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Description
Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.
Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.
The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
