Help our new neighbors learn to speak English, once a week for 1.5 hours. Prior teaching experience is appreciated but not necessary. Bilingual Spanish/English speakers are especially needed, as the majority of our students are Spanish speaking. Hours would to be determined by the availability of the volunteer and students.
During this time of Covid-19 all safety and precautionary guidelines are being followed. Please contact us for more information on how to safely become a tutor during this challenging time.

Mission Statement
Every child in a family; every family in a community
Description
18 Degrees serves the people and families in our communities - whether by birth, choice, or circumstance. Our services respectfully provide the support people need to be able to discover possibilities that may not otherwise be clear. 18 Degrees develops respectful, inclusive partnerships with those we serve, walking side by side, together as the way to their goals and new beginnings come to light.
18 Degrees promotes the well-being of children and the strength of families to build better communities in the Berkshires and Pioneer Valley. We provide education, parenting skills and support, prevention and intervention, advocacy, and life skills across a spectrum of programs serving children and families in four areas: early childhood education and care, foster care and adoption, child and family well-being, youth and community development.
