We will be doing a total spring spruce up of the dog park this year. We are in need of folks to help out by rolling up their sleeves and getting busy with us!
This year's tasks include raking leaves, planting flowers, painting the chain link fence, painting the buildings and benches, washing the ramps, re-surfacing the A-frames, building new jumps, moving sand from a pile in the parking area to each side of the dog park with wheelbarrows to fill holes and basic cleaning up of debris around the dog park.
We ask our volunteers to please supply their own work gloves. We will supply snacks and water to all those who attend. We are in need of additional rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows to use that day as well, so if you are able to bring one, please do and let us know in advance.
This is a great opportunity for youth who need Community Service hours or just anyone who wants to be part of a great community effort.
