At Literacy Lubbock, our passion is helping people attain their goals and making their dreams possible. Volunteers are the life blood of our operation.

Our main volunteer needs include:

- ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction/tutoring for adults at all levels

- GED tutoring for adults, including Math (Geometry, Algebra), Science, Reading/Writing, and Social Studies

Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular schedule, typically for 2 hours a week.

Ideal candidates are patient, flexible, and very dependable. Teaching or tutoring experience is helpful but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to learn.

Volunteers must be 18 or older for tutoring positions.
