OneWorld

OneWorld welcomes your support of special projects to help with operational needs in the clinic. This volunteer opportunity gives you flexibility and allows you to supply quick aid. Tasks include but are not limited to: set-up and clean up for events, administrative assistance, and substitute coverage for the core volunteer teams. Thank you for considering this position!

Location: Livestock Exchange Campus near 30 th & L streets

Attire: comfortable business casual

Parking: Volunteers are welcome to use the North end of the Livestock Exchange Building’s parking lot. As a courtesy to accommodate our patients coming to the clinic for medical care, we ask volunteers to join our staff and use the parking spots furthest away from the doors. An overflow lot is available across the street of our complex to the East.

Description

OneWorld is the largest provider of primary health care services in South Omaha. We are the only primary care clinic in the area with a majority bilingual and bicultural staff, a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance, entitlement enrollment, on-site dental, pharmacy, behavioral health care, vision and other services.

OneWorld provides a vast range of services in health care, dentistry and behavioral health. We focus on meeting the primary health care needs of our community, and we maintain an open-door policy, providing treatment regardless of an individual’s income, insurance coverage, without differentiation or consideration of race, sex, disability, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status or ability to pay.
