We are looking for volunteers to help set-up and work our basket auction as well as work at tables selling raffle tickets and merchandise. Our Fashion Show is held every two years and helps us fund all of our events for our families (the vast majority of our events are free for all of our members). Our goal this year is to raise $25,000, which will be used to help us not only continue to fund our existing activities, but will enable us to expand our offerings in some much needed areas. Our membership and needs have increased considerably in the past few years, as we’ve welcomed new families and watched many of our younger members with Down syndrome grow into amazing teens and young adults. As such, we have a growing need for expanded supports and programs. We are full of hope, energy and plans for the future of our organization and for the future of our beautiful children.

Mission Statement
-to provide parents of children with Down syndrome with the information and the necessary resources to help their child reach his/her full potential -to support the individual with Down syndrome as well as her/his family through social and educational events -to share accurate and up-to-date knowledge and information with medical professionals, educational professionals, and the public about Down syndrome.
Description
We are a parent run organization to support families who have children with Down syndrome in southern New Jersey. We were founded in 2003 by a group of moms who met at a playgroup and have grown to over 100 families strong. We offer ongoing programs for different age groups, such as fitness class, social groups and playgroups as well as many monthly social events throughout the year. We also have guest speakers to educate our parents on various topics and reach out to medical professionals as well.
