Dear Prospective Volunteers,

Heeling in Fashion Foundation is a non profit organization with initiatives to assist youth and their families with meeting basic needs such as Housing, Food, and personal items.

We are hosting a "Feed The Homeless" initiative within the City of Atlanta and need your help. On this day, homeless Individuals will be served hot meals and provided personal items they may need. We are seeking 10 volunteers who may assist us in the following areas:

1. Setting up Tints
2. Distributing hot meals
3. Distributing personal items
4. Interact, when it’s safe to do so, and encourage homeless to receive meals
5. Set up tables and pass out waters
5. Pick up and/or contain trash so it is not on city property
6. Break down hot bar and dispose of necessary items
7. Unload and Load necessary items out of van
8. Any additional things needed to ensure this day is a success

Items will be at a minimum and weigh no more than 10-15lbs. Example items include, but not limited to, tables, chairs, coolers, cambro boxes to hold hot food, kitchen supplies, tables for serving, tints, etc.

We are dedicated to 'heeling' the lives of our youth through mentorship, educational workshops, scholarships, financial support, youth crime prevention and community involvement by way of fashion.

Description

The Heeling in Fashion Foundation Inc., (HIFF) is a non-profit organization with 501c3 status, obtained through the state of Florida. We are dedicated to healing the lives of youth, ages 9-17, through health, mentoring, workshops, education, and scholarships, by way of fashion.

We acknowledge you as a valued member of our community, state, and/or Nation and hope you will aide us in our efforts of providing a brighter future for youth with inopportune circumstances.

Meetingour goal allows our foundation to assist youth with many educational challenges that are often deterring factors. Some barriers include, but not limited to, proper attire for school, adequate school supplies, reliable transportation, proper nutrition, shelter, financial assistance for continuing education, and life skills mentoring. Although these obstacles are great for youth with economic barriers, together, we can help them meet goals contributing to a life much more sustainable.

HIFF realizes the importance of education and is striving endlessly to provide resources, leadership, guidance, and positive exposure to youth yearning to overcome the obstacles personal circumstances may sometimes incur
