NAAAP-Chicago is seeking a Technology Volunteer that is passionate and motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Information Technology by accomplishing independent tasks. We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also a team player. Someone who can work with little instruction, and someone who is proactive in handling technology matters for the organization. Someone who can help us make our brand one of high potential and make an impact in the Asian American community. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update the organization's technology platforms such as GSuite, WordPress, Basecamp, SilkStart, and any others that we may choose to utilize in the future.
  • Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate and manage technology needs with the various committees and program chairs.

Our volunteer program is a leadership program in itself. It builds your communication, negotiation, and project management skills. The Chicago chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), Pan-Asian American professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through networking, respecting Asian multi-culturalism, and supporting diversity and community service.

NAAAP is the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in the U.S. and Canada. Through its committees, members can participate in many activities that joins other Asian American professionals in community service, cultural awareness, and professional development.
