The Blind Community Center is looking for 1 or 2 people to manage our butterfly pollinator garden. We are located in Balboa Park and have a need for someone who can water once or twice a week and do do light garden maintenance, Do you have a green thumb and no place to garden, Would you like to help blind people have an opportunity to have a butterfly release party in the springtime? Do you like to spend time outside in a quiet, serene environment with a view of eucalyptus trees? The right person will help us create an oasis for butterflies and hummingbirds.

Description

The Blind Community Center (BCCSD) needs you! We give blind and low vision people in our community a place to go every day to relax or just have fun. We have water skiing and surfing in the summertime and activities like karaoke, bingo and cribbage all year long. Social activities help people stay healthy and motivated to live a better life. Our participants look forward to monthly BCC parties and special Holiday events.
