In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now focusing on contactless deliveries of medications and other life-sustaining goods. We value the safety and health of all volunteer drivers as well as the people we serve.
ZOOM provides a much-needed transportation service to help enhance the lives of our fellow community members. More specifically, ZOOM serves underserved individuals within Chester County who might otherwise not be able to get to their life-sustaining appointments.
We utilize a user-friendly web-based app that allows drivers to view all ride requests and self-assign rides that he or she can provide. Rides can be round-trip, or if an interval of wait-time is involved, could be one-way with another Driver providing the ride on the other end. All rides are curb-to-curb.
There is NO standing commitment or minimum requirement to be a ZOOM driver, making it a flexible volunteer opportunity that works around your schedule!

Description
The Family Service Zoom Volunteer Driver Program is designed to address the transportation barrier that exists for a significant number of under-served Chester County residents. ZOOM is the first program of its kind in Chester County and the first designed to reach clients left behind by current transportation options. By utilizing a flexible self-assigning system, ZOOM connects volunteer drivers from the community with clients in critical need of a ride to life-sustaining appointments. There is no standing commitment or minimum requirement to be a ZOOM driver, making ZOOM a flexible volunteer opportunity that works around your schedule!
