Brookdale Hospice in Centerville is looking for volunteers to visit with our residents in Hospice. We have many for you to choose from. Our resident's are SO lonely. This past year has been rough on them and they are anxious for visitors. With weather getting nicer, just sitting outside on porch and talking will make them so happy!

We look for an hour a week. This time is spent visiting with the resident, hearing their story, playing a game, reading a book, playing music for them on your phone or simply holding their hand! Some of our residents do not have any visitors at all. You can bring so much joy to someone who is lonely. It's like visiting with Grandma or Grandpa.

We do require fingerprints, urine drug screen and tb testing but we pay for everything. I will make it as easy as possible for you. All COVID 19 precautions will be taken. I can explain more when we talk!

Volunteers must be 16 years or older. This will change to 16 or older once COVID restrictions lesson

Please consider bringing some joy to someone who is simply lonely. You could make a new friend!
