Roots of Empathy Volunteer Family (parent and baby) Honolulu schools

Save to Favorites

Hawaii Elementary Schools Are Looking for Volunteer Families. Can you help?

If you or a family you know, will have a baby who will be around 2 months old in October/November please consider volunteering as a Roots of Empathy Family

You will be part of a great movement to nurture and develop empathy in school children to prevent bullying, increase emotional resilience and nurture happy, kind children. The first 5 lessons are part of our Recovery Program where the students will get a chance to share about their feelings surrounding the pandemic what's happened since March 2020.

For the 2020-21 school year most Roots of Empathy Programs will be virtual - you & your baby could participate from home.

We have elementary schools on Oahu, Maui and Kauai in need of volunteer families.

There is also still time for new schools to choose Roots of Empathy as their Social Emotional Learning Curriculum. The program is being funded by the Hawaii Community Foundation and therefore is free to Hawaii schools.
