Mission Statement

Our mission is to draw runners, walkers, cyclists, and triathletes from around the globe to enjoy the best swimming, riding, running, and walking that San Diego has to offer. We are a charity focused event and use our love for our events to raise money and awareness for local causes.

Description

Koz Events is a Cycling Tour, Triathlon, and Marathon production event company that helps raise funds for Challenged Athletes Foundation and Operation Rebound.

Challenged Athletes Foundation provides opportunities and supports people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The Operation Rebound program provides opportunities for wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers to engage in both physical and cognitive activities outside the traditional therapy setting.

Our success depends on you. We need YOU to help us provide fun aid stations, oversee the finish line, register riders, and work throughout our Bike and Fitness Expo. Help make a difference in a person's life!

The Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo San Diego is held in the tradition of Italian Gran Fondos, which are semi-competitive, long-distance bicycle rides that provide an exciting event for all level of riders. It is a two-day event celebrating cycling, food and San Diego’s North Coast and features three mass-start road cycling routes and a two-day Bike & Fitness Expo.
