Volunteer Coordinator Aide
Give back to those that give their time... nurture the Volunteer team by focusing on their care.
A major focus of this Volunteer Coordinator Aide position is reaching out to existing Volunteers, making sure they have answers to their questions, are having a positive experience and/or learning why they may not be volunteering any longer. We want to make sure they are nurtured, heard and encouraged.
As we have many new applicants, some of your work will be reaching out to Volunteers that have just completed their Orientation, making sure they know their next steps and helping them be the best Volunteer they can be. You may call or email new Volunteers, so being comfortable speaking (and writing) to people will be an important skill.
You will receive "on the job" training from the Volunteer Coordinator, possibly working beside the Volunteer Mentor and Recruiter. Any resources you need to be successful will be provided to you.
In this position, you will need to maintain confidentiality, be detailed and organized. The position is flexible, but consistency in reaching out to the Volunteer base is a must. Interested individuals must be outgoing and able to communicate easily with a variety of people.
