Blood Donor Ambassador volunteers assist in our Blood Donation Center and throughout the community at local blood drives. They greet and register donors, assist them with any questions, and provide refreshments in the canteen area. It is a critical way to serve your community as blood donations help to save many lives!
Please Note: If you reside in a "stay-at-home" or "shelter in place" area, blood collection staff and volunteers are considered essential. You are permitted to go to/from the Blood Center and hospitals if you choose to help. You will be provided with Red Cross identification. Additional details will be provided upon completion of the application process.
Several enhanced protocols have been implemented in the interest of the safety of the blood supply, recipients, other donors, staff, volunteers and general public health.
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that...
...all people affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope; ...our communities are ready and prepared for disasters;
...everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products;
...all members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort whenever needed; and
...in an emergency, there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Cross skills to save lives.
We'll work with your schedule.
