Our local nonprofit, Townspeople, provides affordable housing and supportive living services to individuals and families who have experienced or at risk of being homeless. We are currently in urgent need of a volunteer who knows ASL who can interpret and translate between one of our clients, who is deaf, and our case worker who assists him.
This would entail coming into our office once a month, a scheduled meeting between the case worker and their client along with you to serve as the interpreter. Schedule is flexible and is made between you, the case worker and the client about once a month.
