Grane Hospice Care is recruiting volunteers to assist the Recreation Department with calling Bingo and other group activities. This a great opportunity for people who enjoy playing games and being with the elderly. If you are outgoing, creative, love to give your time to help others; then you are who we are looking for!
This opportunity is in a nursing home community.
We are looking for someone who can consistently be available 1x's a month or 1x's a week.

Description
A higher level of Hospice
Grane Hospice provides a Higher Level of hospice care through a low patient to nurse ratio, allowing for more care time whenever needed. Our aides provide additional personal care through bathing, feeding and dressing assistance. Our volunteers are also available for visits, errands and companionship.
Your Spiritual Connection
If you have a spiritual affiliation, with your permission, we will contact your minister to advise him or her that you are in our care. We will also invite your minister to communicate with our Interdisciplinary Team so that mutually, we can best serve your needs.
Our Ministers Will
- Provide a listening ear when you are worried, afraid, or just need to talk
- Address spiritual concerns
- Pray with you, read Scripture, or just sit quietly
- Provide or arrange for Christian sacraments or other religious rites
- Conduct funeral or memorial services
