Hospice was founded by volunteers and remain an integral part of the Hospice Team.
We are looking for volunteers to provide companionship to patients in facilities. Volunteers may also provide respite to caregivers of patients living in their homes.
The hours are flexible and visits accommodate volunteers' schedules. The time commitment 1-3 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.

Description
- Our volunteers visit with our patients giving them some extra quality time and letting them know we care as well as assisting around the office. Volunteers can bring different benefits to our volunteer team including special skills like art, music and gardening.
- We provide education and support to our volunteers to make sure they have the confidence needed to benefit from their experience. For our volunteers we ask for a minimum of 1 hour a month be given towards volunteer time. This can be done around your schedule.
- There is an application with a packet that include a drug screening TB test and background check all of which we provide from our office.
