Our volunteers visit with our patients giving them some extra quality time and letting them know we care as well as assisting around the office. Volunteers can bring different benefits to our volunteer team including special skills like art, music and gardening.
We provide education and support to our volunteers to make sure they have the confidence needed to benefit from their experience. For our volunteers we ask for a minimum of 1 hour a month be given towards volunteer time. This can be done around your schedule as the volunteer. You will also be accompanied to your visits until you as the volunteer feel comfortable going on your own.

At PruittHealth, we are committed to providing the highest quality health care while fostering relationships grounded in respect, open communication and professionalism with our patients, residents, clients and communities.
Hospice provides peace and comfort to patients so their last days may be spent with dignity and quality, surrounded by loved ones. Hospice is a philosophy of care that affirms life and does not hasten or postpone death. During hospice, an interdisciplinary team works with patients and loved ones to offer physical, emotional, practical and spiritual support. PruittHealth Hospice offers the hope of a quality, pain-free life, day by day. It can be administered in the patient's home, or at a hospital, nursing home or private facility.
