Habitot Children's Museum located in downtown Berkeley has ongoing opportunities for volunteer work parties. Habitot welcomes volunteers for either a half-day Monday through Thursday 1:00pm-5:00pm or a full day Sundays 9am-5pm of deep cleaning, painting and light repairs on exhibit spaces! Description
Habitot Children's Museum is the East Bay's award-winning hands-on discovery museum for young children. Over 850,000 people have enjoyed the museum's interactive exhibits, art programs and classes since its opening in 1998. More than a place to entertain young children, Habitot provides resources and support for early childhood learning, parenting success, and community connection. Habitot's Family Outreach Program brings over 8,000 low-income and at-risk children into the museum every year.
