ORGANIZATION: Edgewood Center for Children and Families

Edgewood offers innovative mental health, family support, and education services that provide vital assistance to at-risk youth and families in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Edgewood is looking for folks who have enthusiasm, a passion for working with youth and a skill to share.

In this case, we are looking for an individual(s) interested in acting as a Culinary Arts Teacher for youth (12-17) in our residentially-based programs.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to lead a dance activity for a small group (3-6) of youth in partnership with Edgewood's counseling staff. While you do not need professional training, it would be helpful for you to have direct experience or some form(s) of training and/or knowledge in cooking a variety of cuisines and safe food handling practices.

If this sparks your interest, please complete our online interest form.
