ORGANIZATION: Families for Depression Awareness

  • 1 person is interested

Families for Depression Awareness (FFDA) is looking for one family like yours to share
their experience with bipolar disorder for our new video series. FFDA will
promote the videos to thousands of people through our website, social media, and
trainings. Join us in the effort to inspire hope among families and end stigma!

We are seeking adult (age 18+) participants who have a powerful story to tell about their experience with their own or a loved one’s bipolar disorder journey that focuses on the relationship between both the person living with depression and a family member or friend and how that relationship has grown or changed throughout treatment.

What’s the commitment?
Families must commit to participating in a phone/zoom screening (up to an hour)
and then a separate filming day, up to an hour and a half, in the near future

Am I a good fit?
If your family is interested in sharing your story and helping others learn how to navigate
bipolar disorder, we want to hear from you! Families must include both the person living
with depression and a family member or friend willing to be interviewed. We especially welcome
people who represent diverse identities (e.g., gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, ability). We would prefer to film in person in MA but as the pandemic continues, we are willing to film via Zoom with anyone nationwide.

How do I apply?
