Meals On Wheels is looking for volunteers who are able to pick up meals to deliver between 10:45 AM and 11:10 AM depending on pick-up location. The whole route shouldn't take more than an hour after pick up.

Volunteers should have their own vehicles and a passion for serving the community.

We always have routes open, multiple a day usually. There isn't a specific number of people needed to fill routes-we always need new volunteers.


You can volunteer as much or as little as you like, whether it's once a week (or more!), bi-weekly, or once a month. (It doesn't have to be the same day of the week either.)




*With COVID-19 We still need volunteers. Here are precautions we are taking:
-The canvas bags are being sanitized with Lysol spray regularly, the coolers were sanitized daily already and the handles and lids are now being wiped before use as well.
-There are gloves and masks volunteers can utilize if they wish. If they would like to use gloves, please be wary that anything you touch with the gloves can contaminate personal belongings if you are still wearing the gloves when touching them. If they have their own mask, it is encouraged to bring their own as we have limited supply. They also can bring their own gloves if they wish.
-Contact-less delivery. All Meals On Wheels recipients have been asked to place a chair, table, box, or something for their meal to be placed on outside of their door. Apartment buildings where they do not allow this, there will be plastic bags to put the meal in to hang on the door.
Volunteers will put the meal on the table placed outside, knock or ring doorbell, and step a way to a safe distance and wait to make sure you see them to make sure all is well.
