A Jays fight is a non for profit foundation established for the purpose of advancing research and enhancing community for individuals affected by eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE). A Jay's Fight works to achieve community outreach and educational advancement through social media, fundraising and our 5K Super hero Walk for Eosinophilic Esophagitis. A Jay's Fight is seeking dynamic volunteers to aid in the following initiates: manage our social media presence, manage/update website content, follow EOE research and share relevant partnership opportunities and assistance with 5K Super Hero Walk for EOE.

Required Duties include:

Daily relevant posting on social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter and Facebook - with a minimum of 2 posts per day on each platform. (These may be scheduled in advance)
Establish Twitter account
Draft content to be posted.
Reply to social media posts and inquiries within 48 hours
Promote the May the annual 5K Super Hero Walk For EOE
Attend the 5K walk and engage in various Social Media related activities such as, Posting images, going live, encouraging walk participant's use of event hashtag
Make regular suggestions to A Jay's Fight about best practices or untapped opportunities to reach the public

Volunteer Expectations

-devote 10-12 hours monthly -complete a 30 minute volunteer orientation
-Familiarize yourself with EoE fundamentals
