One store with 2 convenient locations (Hendersonville: 802 Spartanburg Hwy & Etowah: 97 Etowah Drive), this opportunity is suitable for folks with varying skills, strengths, schedules and needs.
Open Tuesday-Friday 10:00-4:00pm & Saturdays 10:00-1:00pm.

Description
For over 50 years the Council on Aging for Henderson County has been engaging with older adults in this community to ensure independence and support as we age. What started as a grass roots efforts from a group of concerned citizens has blossomed into a full steam operating agency offering programs such as Liquid Nutrition, Lunch @ the Sammy Center, Resource Coordination, Caregiver & Respite Care Coordination, Meals on Wheels & two local thrift stores. Our Meals on Wheels program currently serves +- 400 homebound seniors, with an ever growing need and waiting list to tackle.
