Job Summary:
DuPage Children’s Museum is looking for a creative, motivated photography student seeking a summer internship. The internship opportunity is unpaid, but workload and time commitment are very flexible. We are looking for someone who is passionate about bringing stories to life, quick on their feet, confident in their own abilities, and hardworking. We need photos taken of our Tinkering Camp, special events, general admission, and exhibits. Photos will be used for promotion of the Museum in print and on social media. DuPage Children’s Museum is a fast-paced, high-energy environment full of smiles, fun, and learning!
Skills/Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Skilled at photography with DSLR or Mirrorless cameras - Must be able to bring in your own DSLR or DSLM
- Skilled at photo editing and well versed in Adobe Creative Suite
- Sets scheduled times to photograph programs, events, and/or exhibits
- Follows necessary procedures including proper signage and obtaining signed photo releases
- Assists with archiving of photos
- Excellent communication skills a must
