Volunteer Leadership Opportunity: Content Generator
Work to foster a safe and caring environment for other survivors and caregivers within a specific Support Network section:
- Heart-Venous Thromboembolism (VTE)
- Stroke-Cryptogenic, Ischemic, Hemorrhagic, Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA)
- Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)
Responsibilities will include:
- One-year commitment
- Check the site on a daily or every other day
- Start conversation threads & post pictures
- Engage users and encourage more conversations
- Find and post AHA approved science
- Share Support Network blogs and content on personal social media channels
- Assist with the recruitment of new users
Characteristics of a Content Generator:
- Calm and steady in their approach to posting, while being empathetic to others
- Willingness to not engage with irate users and de-escalate situations
- Ability to share experiences, not give medical advice or preach
