The Transportation Advisory Committee is seeking new members. This Committee advocates for a safe and effective multi-modal transportation network for City residents and businesses. Areas of focus include pedestrian, bicycle and skateboards, cars and other motorized vehicles, public transit such as bus and ferry, and parking access. The Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6pm at the Heritage Center at 123 Grand Street.
All members serve on a voluntary basis and residence requirements may apply. Members of the public who wish to apply are to submit a letter of interest and resume. Please address letters of interest to City Manager Joseph P. Donat. responses can be mailed to City Hall, 83 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550 or emailed to Eliana Diaz, Executive Assistant to City Manager, at ediaz@cityofnewburgh-ny.gov.
