The education department of the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum is looking for Chinese Exhibition Presentation(CEP) volunteers.
Volunteers will facilitate the Education Coordinator to prepare teaching material. For example, making zodiac animals masks and print worksheets.
Also, volunteers will assist in program demonstrations, such as passing out project items, assist students in different learning activities and ensure the smooth flow of the presentation.
CEP is on-site and off-site. Sometimes it needs to travel to classrooms, transportation provided by the staff of the museum.

SDCHM’s mission is to create a deeper understanding of China and Chinese America through programs in education, culture and art in the belief that cross-cultural understanding strengthens our diverse San Diego community. Located in the heart of San Diego’s downtown Asian Pacific Historic District, SDCHM is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with special events, exhibitions, and programs.
Established in 1996, the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum (SDCHM) is one of America’s foremost institutions dedicated to sharing the Chinese American experience, and to promoting Chinese art and culture. In twenty years as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, SDCHM has transformed a historic, abandoned building in what was once San Diego’s Chinatown into a state-of-the-art multi-site museum that plays a critical role in the cultural life of the San Diego community.
We'll work with your schedule.
