F.R.I.E.N.D.S. hosts a fun Dance Party each month at the Oakhurst United Methodist Church - 13400 Park Blvdl Seminole FL. We offer a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where all special-needs adults, ages 15 yrs and up, can create lasting friendships and experience the joy of getting together for a fun night of dancing.

*VOLUNTEERS - Earn Volunteer service hours by helping set up the dance, serve snacks to our guests, and dancing! You must fill out the Volunteer Form on our website, www.friendssupport.org to volunteer. Thank you for your time and support! Questions? Call (813)245-2782.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. mission is to provide educational and support services to new parents and families, to empower special needs individuals and help them to become more independent. To promote community integration and together celebrate the lives of people impacted by Down Syndrome and other special needs.

Description

A volunteer-based, non-profit 501C3, founded in 2007 by families impacted by Down Syndrome and other special needs. We are committed to offering support, resources, and acceptance to all individuals with special needs and their families. We provide year-round programs, public education, community activities, and volunteer opportunities for students. We advocate for awareness for our special needs community.
