The Treasurer is a member of our executive committee tasked with Financial Management and/or Oversight. A Treasurer may manage or oversee the management of the financial affairs of the organization, and responsibilities include paying bills, reconciling bank statements, and liaising with the office manager and accountant. Most of the work can be done at home but the Treasurer will come to the office once to twice a month, including for the monthly board meeting on the second Tuesday in the evening. The Treasurer is the signatory on accounts.
We are willing to train a responsible person who is good with numbers.

NAMI-Middlesex is the county chapter of the state National Alliance on Mental Illness. We provide education, support, and socialization to individuals with mental illness and their families and friends
Description
NAMI-Middlesex provides education, support, and community for individuals with mental illness and their families and friends. We run caregiver's support groups, social groups for those with mental illness, and a speaker series. Additionally, we throw parties and other events. We try to remove the loneliness and stigma of mental illness and provide resources.
