Interested in volunteering to share your professional photography talents with families and children facing a critical illness?
We would like to partner with you to schedule photography sessions at the hospital with families who are bedside with their sick child so that they can receive quality photos of themselves as a family.
If you can gift one session a month to a family, please let us know your availability.
For reasons related to patient confidentiality this opportunity requires the completion of a Volunteer Application and Background Check. The attendance of a 1.5 hours There With Care Volunteer Training is also required to develop an understanding of There With Care's programs and services, and the experiences of families.
Your participation and support can provide a family with an image that they'll cherish forever.

Mission Statement
The mission of There With Care is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life's day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Description
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco. When a family receives a medical diagnosis of critical illness for their child, There With Care connects with the family and engages community members and organizations to volunteer to help ease the stress of their day-to-day life activities.
