Weekend Exhibit maintenance Volunteer (Saturdays)

Volunteer to assist with general upkeep of exhibits both inside and out and on the museum grounds. Work would include: playing with interactives to identify parts in need of maintenance, very basic cleaning of plexi surfaces, restocking of parts, and neatening of loose exhibit materials.
Must be 18 years old
Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
An interest in exhibit design and build
Must be diligent about overseeing and keeping up with preventative cleaning and reporting problems with exhibits
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather
Must pass a CORI background check, according to EcoTarium guidelines, have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Description
The EcoTarium museum of science and nature in Worcester, Massachusetts, offers an indoor-outdoor experience to visitors of all ages. Guests are encouraged to explore three floors of indoor interactive exhibits, live animal habitats, daily Science Discovery programs, hikes through forest and meadow nature trails, outdoor imaginative play, and a train ride (seasonal) around the 45+ acre campus.
