Community Blood Center

AN ENCORE career...that thing you'll do now that you're retired. Saving lives, giving back, contributing - your next move. Join Community Blood Center as an Ambassador at our donor centers or at our mobile blood drives. Friendly Ambassadors greet blood donors, bring them treats after their donation and monitor them until they leave the facility. This is an important part of how CBC saves lives right in your community and a great way to start or continue giving back. There is an urgent need for Ambassadors right now!

Ambassador volunteers are asked to commit to at least 12 hours within the first 6 months of service. A completed application, interview/orientation are required and a background check will be conducted. Minimum age: 14

To learn more call or email us today! 816-968-4079 or jbardwell@cbckc.org or apply at https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=726186052.

At this time we have have temporarily suspended our volunteer force due to COVID-19. You may submit an application now, and when we have the all-clear to resume volunteer operations, we will contact you to schedule an interview, hopefully in June 2020. We appreciate your interest in volunteering at CBC. Stay safe!
