AN ENCORE career...that thing you'll do now that you're retired. Saving lives, giving back, contributing - your next move. Join Community Blood Center as an Ambassador at our mobile blood drives. Friendly Ambassadors greet blood donors, bring them treats after their donation and monitor them until they leave the facility. This is an important part of how CBC saves lives right in your community and a great way to start or continue giving back. There is an urgent need for Ambassadors right now!
Ambassador volunteers are asked to commit to at least 12 hours within the first 6 months of service. A completed application, interview/orientation are required and a background check will be conducted.

- Ambassadors generally work 2 to 2.5 hours at donor centers or at mobile blood drives. There are several drives scheduled for each week so volunteers can choose when and where they work.
