Hospice volunteers bring a special kind of caring to our patients and their families. Volunteers will learn about hospice services and how to provide support when time matters most. Volunteer services can range from sitting with patients in their homes for short periods of time to relieve caregivers, visiting with patients in nursing homes, delivering holiday meals, assisting at memorial services, calling caregivers regarding upcoming events, plus more. Adena Hospice offers care for those with life-limiting illnesses in Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Jackson, Vinton, Fayette, Highland and Hocking counties.
