Calling all road warriors! Help save lives by delivering blood to area hospitals and picking up blood donations at area mobile blood drives. Choose to deliver STAT orders or more routine deliveries and pick ups. Routes times can vary from 2 to 4 hours. You choose days, times, route and availability level. Criteria for drivers include
- 21 years of age
- good driving record
- hold a Missouri Class E driver’s license* or a Kansas driver’s license
- can lift 35 lbs
- pass a background check and DMV records check
- minimum of 12 hours of volunteering over a 6 month period
*Missouri drivers will be reimbursed the expense of acquiring a Class E license after 6 months of service at CBC.
Couples or friends can drive as teams but both will have to complete the application requirements and training.
A completed application, interview/orientation are required and a background check will be conducted.
