ALL VOLUNTEER VISITS WITH OUR RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER BY STATE OF OHIO. ONCE SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER IS LIFTED; VOLUNTEER INTERVIEWS AND ONBOARDING WILL BEGIN AGAIN. PLEASE COME BACK AND VISIT AGAIN WHEN ORDER IS LIFTED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SENDING OUR RESIDENTS IN OUR COMMUNITIES LETTERS/CARDS, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I CAN PROVIDE YOU INFORMATION TO GET YOU STARTED. OUR RESIDENTS ARE LONELY AND ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF LOVE THROUGH CARDS/LETTERS. YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND THIS COULD BE A GREAT FAMILY ACTIVITY!!! At Brookdale Hospice we serve patients in their homes and in Senior Living Communities.

Our residents in Senior Living Communities are looking for someone to visit with them to allow them to share their stories, play a game, read to them, sing some songs with them or simply hold their hand.

Our patients in their private homes (all checked for cleanliness and safety) are looking for someone to visit with them to allow the caregiver (family member) a chance to run to the store, take a walk or go the YMCA for a break from caregiving. No clinical work is required, just companionship.

We have so many locations in Dayton, Englewood, Eaton, Springfield, Oakwood, Kettering, Centerville and all over Cincinnati.

This is a great way to give back, provide friendship to someone who is sick and lonely. The schedule is flexible. You volunteer when it is convenient for you. We do require fingerprints, urine drug screen but we pay for everything.
