Evening Family Literacy Child Classroom Assistants: High Point
ORGANIZATION: Reading Connections, Inc
Please visit the new page to apply.
Our Family Literacy program helps parents improve their basic English skills so that they can help their children succeed in school. While parents are in class, children explore age-appropriate literacy activities, including children's books, crafts, and STEAM activities.
We need classroom assistants to help care for children from birth to age 12 (classrooms are divided by age). Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at local elementary schools. We ask that volunteers commit to at least one evening per week for ten weeks. We are looking for volunteers who are available between March 9 and May 21.
For more information, please contact Alison Welch, Family Literacy Manager: awelch@readingconnections.org, 336-279-7261.
