ORGANIZATION: MSS-Midwest Special Services, Inc

MSS is a day program that provides a variety of supports and services to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our Eagan location is looking for a volunteer to come in weekly and lead a group of program participants in any type of sport/movement class, such as dance, yoga, fitness, etc. Some participants may need adaptations made in order to participate, and staff will be present to assist. Volunteer should be positive, upbeat, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with adults with disabilities. Volunteer should also be available weekdays, Mondays are preferred but day of the week can be flexible, and the class will be held either 10-11am or 12:30-1:30pm. Volunteer must be able to pass a criminal background check and complete online training modules.

We are a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with disabilities, founded in 1949. We operate seven locations that span the Twin Cities metro area, designed to support the diverse needs and aspirations of approximately 600 individuals who receive services each year. We empower people to live the life they choose by providing opportunities and developing partnerships built on collaboration and community engagement.
