Do you love music? Do you sing, or play piano or an instrument? We are looking for hospice volunteers to provide music to our hospice patients! The hospice volunteer will visit our hospice patients where ever they reside; nursing homes, assisted livings or private residences. It is flexible on hours and days of week to visit and we work around your schedule. A background check and drug and TB testing is required, no charge to the volunteer. Also required to attend volunteer training.

Description
Hospice is a program of palliative care and supportive services for terminally ill patients and their families. An interdisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, therapists and volunteers work together to provide individualized services. All team members are trained in pain and symptom management and in providing emotional support to the patient and family.
