Do you want to make a difference for our planet and get hands-on work experience at an international conservation NGO? Rainforest Partnership (RP) is a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, with team members in the US and Peru. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature.

RP is looking for an HR Coordinator. The HR Coordinator will work with the Operations Team providing people support to the whole organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in volunteer and intern recruitment including:
• Creating postings
• Coordinating interviews between candidates and managers
• Working with educational institutes
• Participating in recruiting events
• Completes new staff set up and maintains HR data
• Works with HR team to update Orientation materials

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Availability to respond to work-related emails within two business days
