Our "Better Futures for Idaho Youth" project encompasses VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) positions at eight nonprofits in Coeur d’Alene and throughout the state. As a VISTA, you will work to build the capacity of an organization to improve outcomes in early childhood education, K-12 schools, and college entrance. If you are up to the challenge, a VISTA year is an excellent way to accrue valuable job experience while giving back to the community.Openings in

The AmeriCorps VISTA program works to end poverty in our country. VISTA members serve one-year, full-time terms and receive a living allowance of $12,490 per year, a $6,000 education award, as well as health and childcare benefits.
