Leaving for Good
As a volunteer driver, you can help someone leave a life of abuse behind them

Calling all mechanics- we need your time and expertise! Put your professional mechanic skills to good use helping victims and children! Families to Freedom provides long-distance transportation for victims of domestic abuse to get to safety with family or shelter outside of the DFW area.

We’re looking for a mechanically inclined person or two to help keep our vehicles maintained and running efficiently. We have no tools or garage so work would be done at a location of your choice and at your own schedule. We’ll pay for parts and fluids. Activities may include easy fluid and filter changes, rotating tires, diagnosing engine codes, proposing maintenance to make the vehicle run more efficiently, and resolving easy issues.

Repairs would be on an as-needed basis. Retired or current mechanics preferred.
