According to the 2019 Santa Clara County homeless census, the city of Mountain View saw a 46% increase in homelessness, jumping from 416 people up to 606. The Day Worker Center of Mountain View is looking into the possibility of offering mobile services including a mobile shower to members of our community impacted by the issue of homelessness.
We are looking for a volunteer to help us look into logistics in terms of budgeting and city permits that we would need if we were to create this project.
Responsibilities:
- research city of Mountain View permits
- list of items we would need to buy
- create a budget of monthly expenses
- make a business plan (population served, type of vehicle, etc)
