ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud

Deliver pet food to Meals on Wheels clients! Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud (MOWLB) is looking for friendly, pet-loving volunteers to help deliver pet food to some of our clients with cats and dogs. On the 4th Saturday of every month, you will pick up pet food from Colorado Pet Pantry's pet food bank, typically at the Food Bank for Larimer County, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Then you will deliver to MOWLB clients in the Loveland-Berthoud area who have requested the service. You will need to fill out a Meals on Wheels volunteer application, participate in full driver training at Meals on Wheels on one weekday, and pass a background check. The commitment would be the 4th Saturday of each month to pick-up and deliver pet food and periodic check-ins with MOWLB volunteer coordinator.

  • Be able to lift 25 lb. Have a personal vehicle to do pet food pick-up and deliveries to clients.
