The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation will be planting an orchard at Kohl Elementary school on Sunday, June 7th and we could use your help! We will be planting fruit trees and fruiting shrubs and berries around the school campus in order to provide fresh fruit for the cafeteria and learning opportunities for students for decades to come.

Our expert staff will guide students, staff, and volunteers in a fun and informative planting that will include best planting practices, irrigation, and mulch. Our arborist is also available for any questions about your own backyard fruit trees or any tree-related questions you might have!

Please email us if you are interested and able to attend. Past volunteers rave about FTPF projects as enriching, community-based events that bring together neighbors and students alike in the joint mission of planting fruit trees for a healthier local environment and world. We look forward to meeting you in the orchard!
