No matter how much time you can give, it will make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
The best way to find yourself is in the service of others. There are no time requirements for volunteers, and we will work around your schedule. We are looking for the following:
- Hospice patient volunteers
- Office volunteers
- Specialty volunteers, including but not limited to:
- Massage therapists
- Pet therapy
- Musicians
- Bereavement
Our volunteers serve their communities in many different ways, and they are at the heart of what we do. College or high school students are welcome to volunteer and spend time with patients.
Office activities based in Calhoun, GA. Patient/Family opportunities available in Catoosa, Walker, Whitfield, Gordon, Bartow, and Cherokee Counties.

Description
PruittHealth Hospice is our family-focused approach to end-of-life care that helps patients live their final days well cared for, pain-free and surrounded by their loved ones.
Hospice care does not hasten or postpone death, caring for the person rather than the disease, with a focus on quality rather than length of life. Hospice care is always family-centered, involving the patient and family in the decision-making process. PruittHealth delivers hospice care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the setting tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Hospice is not a place; it is a specialized service approach to end-of-life care
