Help Project Homeless Connect assemble 1,300 Simply The Basics hygiene kits!
After receiving on-site support from over 140 service providers, every attendee at our next Community Day of Service event will receive a complete hygiene kit provided by our partner Simply The Basics in their signature, reusable mildew-proof tote bags.
The afternoon will begin at 4:00 PM with brief introductions to Project Homeless Connect and our Community Day of Service Event, as well as a discussion on the importance of high quality hygiene products and our partners at Simply The Basics. Then, the main attraction: hygiene kit assembly! There will be an assembly line set up in the Urban Life Center's Auditorium, where you will pack socks, soap, wipes, lotion, etc. for distribution at our upcoming event.
Pizza will be served to fuel your hygiene kit packing efforts!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old

Description
Collaborating with city agencies, businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers, PHC provides comprehensive holistic services, both at large-scale service events and through continued drop-in care, for anyone that is experiencing homelessness, transitioning out of homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless.
