Mission Statement

RPI seeks to end human trafficking through the education, empowerment, and restoration of survivors at the intersection of modern-day slavery and domestic violence, and their stakeholder communities. 2013 to date, we have educated over 1,000 community members, service providers, high school students and their educators, and survivors. Between 2018 & 2019 we provided access to skills development to 26 survivors, immigrants, and refugees (who have experienced violence) In 2020 we have trained 3 survivors and refugee on how to start and grow their own small business; they are in the process of obtaining loans for this. In 2019 we assisted 3 individuals to get jobs and internships

Description

Restoration Project International is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization based in Denver, Colorado. Founded on August 2, 2013, the organization fosters the restoration of hope and rehabilitation of survivors of human trafficking at the intersection of domestic violence. We want to see stakeholder communities actively involved in the sustainable restoration process with the ultimate goal of restoring survivors' dignity, and open doors for an opportunity to live a healthy normal life again. We believe education is the key to achieving our goals. It plays an important role in opening doors to economic freedom and reduces the chances of survivors returning to the sex trade. Our efforts are also geared towards providing communities with the tools and resources needed for the prevention of sex trafficking and the protection of vulnerable girls. Thus we take seriously, our partnerships with like-minded organizations, government, and non-governmental organizations that fight human trafficking and domestic violence.
Our Programs: Community Awareness Education (conferences, workshops, presentations, and training); SAFE (survivor awareness & first encounter) Prog.; Skills Development Education (computer introduction/Microsoft application, financial literacy, and business coaching classes); Workforce Development; and Mentoring/Group Session.
