Do you love the market? Love fresh, local produce, and supporting local businesses and community? Then help us by providing valuable support and interactions at the information booth and throughout the markets!

Farmers Market Volunteer duties include greeting and assisting customers, collecting market data, supporting vendors, keeping the market clean, assisting with market giveaways, and more!

Before your shifts are scheduled, you will be able to select the market day that is the best fit for you and receive more specific instructions. Please wear comfortable, weather- and family-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes.

The Hillsboro Farmers' Markets run from April to October, and volunteer help for the Market Sprouts program is needed on Saturday or Sunday AM/PM. Come join the fun and help support the markets!

Description

Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets (HFM) enriches and unifies our community by creating welcoming environments to access affordable regionally grown produce, arts, crafts, and local products. HFM supports farmers, artisans, and other family-owned business entrepreneurs. We encourage partnerships among vendors and the educational and business communities. In partnership with our vendors, we educate consumers on farm practices, sustainability, and the nutritional and economic value of buying locally.
